The Saint Raphael Meet-Up is scheduled this year for the weekend of Friday June 7th - Saturday June 9th
This event is for traditional Catholic single young adults ages 18 - 40.
Our current plans are:
Friday Evening Axe-Throwing - 6 pm
(Buy dinner there or you can get something before coming.)
Saturday Morning Tour of Local Civil War Sites - 9 am
Saturday Lunch at local Burger and Custard Restaurant - 12 pm
Saturday Afternoon Canoeing down the Shenandoah - 2 pm
Saturday Rosary Walk in the local Civil War Cemetery - 5 pm
Saturday Dinner at the local Historic Mill - 6 pm
Saturday Post-Dinner Walk around Main Street and the gazebo.
Sunday Mass - 9 am (Saint Athanasius Vienna, VA)
(Saint Athanasius has confessions on Saturday 10-11 am.)
Sunday Lunch (McAlister's) - 12 pm
Sunday Exploration of the State Arboretum of Virginia - 2 pm
Sunday Dinner (Mission BBQ) - 5 pm
The cost to attend the event this year is $100.
This will cover the costs of axe-throwing, canoeing and Sunday Dinner.
For the other meals we will meet at the various locations and you can buy your own choice of food and drinks.
Transportation and lodging is not automatically provided.
